The Youth Human Rights Defenders (YHRD) Network in Dailekh District, Karnali Province, represents a dynamic and collaborative platform that unites young individuals committed to advocating for and protecting human rights in their communities. This network emerged as a direct result of the district-level consultation organized by various civil society organizations (CSOs) and supported by AEIN Luxembourg, marking a pivotal step in empowering youth to take a more active role in human rights work.
The formation of the YHRD Network was the culmination of several months of consultations, workshops, and capacity-building efforts aimed at identifying young human rights defenders in the region, fostering solidarity, and developing their skills to drive effective human rights advocacy.
