Successful completion of a district-level interaction program in Jumla, aimed at fostering dialogue and collaboration among key stakeholders on the role of youth human rights defenders. This initiative reaffirms ROYM Nepal’s dedication to empowering young individuals and advocating for their rights, ensuring that their voices are heard in decision-making processes.
The interaction program brought together a diverse group of stakeholders, including government representatives, civil society organizations, human rights activists, and young defenders, to discuss pressing issues affecting youth engagement in human rights advocacy. The discussions focused on the challenges faced by youth in promoting and protecting human rights, the need for institutional support, and strategies to enhance their leadership in community development and governance.
Through active participation and open dialogue, the event provided a platform for experience-sharing, capacity-building, and the development of action plans to strengthen youth-led human rights initiatives in Jumla.
